Mech Warrior 2 Cheat Key Sequences

The following key sequences are MW2 Specific!

Hold down CTRL-ALT-SHIFT and type the following to tweak the game to your satisfaction:

• BLORB = Invulnerable Mech.
• CIA = Unlimited Ammo.
• COLDMISER = Disable Heat Tracking.
• DORCS = Meet the Mechwarrior 2 Designers.
• ENOLAGAY = Nuke Everything. Everything!
• FLYGIRL = Your Mech sprouts jump jets!
• FRONT = Rear view camera changes to front view.
• GANKEM = Toast the currently targeted mech!
• HANGAROUND = Disable mission timer.
• ICANTHACKIT = Successfully skip the mission.
• IDKFA = Try it and see!
• MEEPMEEP = Enable time compression. Slows down game.
• MICHELIN = Display object bounding spheres.
• MIGHTYMOUSE = Unlimited Jump Jets!
• POCKPOCK = Turn into chickens. (?)
• TINKERBELL = Free Flight Camera.
• UNMEEPMEEP = Disable time compression.
• XRAY = Like "Image Enhancement" but you can see through walls, etc.
• ZMAK = Adds extra gravity to slow down the the game.

Other Tidbits

• You can use the ' key to toggle between weapon groups. Or you can redefine another key in the Combat Controls screen.

• Registering with the name Freebirthtoad will allow you to "replay" all 16 missions. (But not with a custom mech, unfortunately.)

• Change your name to Hobbes in the Trials of Grievance (from the Star Config screen) and you will be able to select the Elemental & Tarantula mechs.

• Change your name to Enzo in the Trials of Grievance (from the Star Config screen) and you will be able to select the Elemental, Tarantula, and Battle Master mechs. Note that this doesn't work on V1.0 -- it will cause a crash. Later versions all work.

• Clicking on the 2nd "light orb" will take you to the Meet the Designers Page.
